Room

a couple people have asked me about the room I keep the pups in. My house. The pool. I start them out in whelping box in the living room. They stay here till 3 weeks old. At 3 weeks they start escaping. The smell momma and follow the scent. So they get moved to the office. This is the room between my kitchen and garage. It's a huge 15x25 room. With lots of light and patio doors to back yard. I spend over 12 hours a day in this room. So I am with them all day and most of the evening. I no longer sleep with them at this age. Momma can get over the side of the pool but they can't get out. I could leave them in pool till they went home but I would not be able to potty train or get them use to crate. So they only stay in pool 2 weeks. At 5-6 weeks they then get out into a puppy play yard with access to patio door. And we go in and out all day long. This all depends on the weather and there ability to go down steps. We do not go outside till they can get up steps and down steps.
