Hopefully I don’t make this too confusing. I just didn’t want to publish people’s names with out permission. So here it goes. I will list each puppy. Then I will list an appt time. And last will be a letter. A for my first pick. B for my second pick. C for my third pick if I have one. Remember, some people are easy to match and some are not. I take into consideration everything you have told me about gender, coat, temperament. You are welcome to select any pup and I will tell you my honest opinion pros and cons. Good news, I don’t see a wide variety in personalities. I’m not seeing any anxiety or shyness. And I’ll make this announcement, the only crazy pup is pink and I’ve decided to keep her. She is head strong, outgoing, and will make a good mom one day. She reminds me so much of grandma Bella when she was a pup. I call her crazy but it’s not that she is crazy. She will just be a fun playful pup. I had my eye on a much calmer settled girl but my best moms have been head strong and out going. Curly was the same way. They are smart. Too smart. And protective. And they just seem to mature and settle down very quick. So Curlys pink Girl will be eliminated from selection. She will eventually be placed in a guardian home.

I’m going to blog about both litters. For any colors that are duplicates I’ll call Dolly’s neon.

curlys: oh they are so grown up. They run and play and you can tell they have hit the 8 week mark. The girls are still small. Red the smallest. She is quiet but playful. Loves to be held and snuggles. Pink is so happy and outgoing. She just loves everyone. Purple is very calm and laid back. Like a princess. Orange is independent and loves snuggles. Blue is the explorer. He is off in the bushes smelling and wondering around. Teal just wants in my lap. He wants people. Green is similar and always finds a way to sneak out of the pen. Tan is quiet but always with everyone else.
Dollys
black is the kisser. He is so happy and wants to love. Green is quiet but fun. Neon orange is always with everyone else. Neon blue is very timid. He plays and gets excited but he is the largest and really gentle. Fusia is outgoing but does get timid with loud noises. She is playful. All bark and no bite. Pink is fun and playful. Yellow is my follower. She is quiet and snuggles.

Litter 10 is so big. It did them good to get outside this week for some much needed exercise to shed some baby fat. They are doing great. They love being with the big kids. They are doing good with the steps. Black prefers to be inside. Him and green are both very quiet. Black is my kisser. He licks my face in happiness. Fusia is my outgoing one. Very playful and fun. Not scared of anything. Yellow is very happy and a snuggler. Pink is independent an plays with everyone even the other litter. Blue is playful but not aggressive. He backs down and prefers low key fun. Orange is outside. Usually the last to come in when I call. He is always laying in the grass enjoying the fresh air.
I will blog as the week goes on because they are so young still and personalities start to show more the older they get.

Litter 9 is now 8 weeks old. Wow has the time flew by. All growing so much. They are independent and doing well with eating and potty training. They have all their teeth now but are still chewing a good bit. They love to play outside and we have been blessed with many nice days and no rain. This litter enjoys outside more than most of my others have. Playing for hours in the yard. All exploring. Some personality changes that I’ve saw. Teal is my big lap dog. He always snuggles with me when I sit down. He stays in my lap and gives me lots of kisses. Pink is playful. Very outgoing and is another snuggler. She wants me to play with her. Green is usually the first to go back in. He plays hard and naps hard. Tan is independent. He will snuggle when it’s just him but content to go off. Orange is quiet. He likes when I have the blanket in the yard and he can lay with me. Purple is a delicate like girl. Her tail wags when you pick her up. She is so happy. Red is dainty. She is playful and loves to jump on my lap when there is room. Blue has came out of his shell. He is still my explorer but plays with everyone when they play.

I will be scanning in go home packages this week and emailing everyone. This will cut down on questions during pick weekend. You will get copy of contract, food sheet, and insurance papers. I highly recommend you sign up for the free insurance for 30 days. You can always switch later. This does not cover shots. Only emergencies. I test all my parents. I run a 150 genetic tests on all. I test hips, heart, and eyes. We have yearly exams. But this doesn’t mean something can’t happen to a pup. I often compare it to babies. If you think of the last 10 babies born that you know I bet you can name at least one that has an allergy, needed braces, broke a bone, or has a condition. I raise healthy happy pups but anything can happen. And not everything is genetic. Or testable. I do everything humanly possible but insurance makes choices easier when it comes to needing something done. Also puppies love to eat things. Over the years I’ve spend $1300 and $2800 to open up an adolescence dog for eating something and it became a blockage. So I highly recommend the insurance. I’ve sent pups home and a month later they scaled a baby gate and broke a leg. Another ran into wooden steps and broke their hip. Both had insurance. I’ve raised over 100 puppies. This is only 2%. But trust me those vet bills would have been huge with out the insurance. Another thing is hip issues and over exercising. I will send home an appropriate exercise sheet. Environmental factors equate to half or more of all hip issues in dogs. It’s not just genetics. What you do those first 6 months are important. No long walks. We call them sniff and strolls. That’s it. If you need to tire out a pup you can do it mentally too. Not just physically. Have them search for treats. Practice sit and stay and wait.

The pups are really growing. Curlys are enjoying lots of outside playtime. Dolly’s have ventured to the patio to explore. The girls are so silly. Especially pink. She is a fun playful pup. Very outgoing and curious. Blue is the explorer. He likes to investigate everything. Green has a heart of gold. He likes to play but when I pick him up it’s all snuggles. Tan is a follower. Always seeing what everyone else is doing. Orange is quiet. Preferring the down time of laying in the yard. Purple is the quietest. The last to follow. Red is fun and playful and usually plays alone. She takes toys seriously. All are growing and doing great with hard food.
Dollys pups are starting to show personalities. Green is the most courageous and can finally get out of pen on his own. Blue is quite and plays alone and is really silly. Orange is happy and playful. Black is the kisser. He shows the most affection. Fusia is on the go. She wants to play with everyone. Pink is reserved. Often playing by herself. And yellow is a happy little gal.

It always takes me so long to start to blog. Once I start I continue each day. But getting started is hard. I’m not a writer. So this doesn’t come naturally for me.
I want to talk today about Curlys pups. I’m really starting to see personality. And they are all different. I’ll start with the boys. I confuse orange for one of the girls often. He looks just like them. And he is quite. I call blue green and teal the 3 horseman. They are always together. Playing. On the coolaroo bed or under it. Teal is most playful. Blue is the explorer. And green tags along. Tan is quite like orange. The pink Girl is most outgoing. Always wrestling with the boys. She doesn’t let her size stop her. Red is fun and happy. And purple is the quietest of them all.
As the weeks pass I’ll go into depth more on each. Our early training is showing who dominate and outgoing. And who is quite and reserved. I don’t have any clingy or anxiety that I can tell. And if I had to guess blue may be our leader.
We are starting to master the stairs. We are starting to go in and out to play. Next step is to potty. Because they are such a small litter I’m holding off on crating at night for another week. They can’t hold bladder being this small. I’ll start next week.
