3/4/2017 Puppieswe have puppies. 8 healthy happy puppies. 5 boys, 3 girls. All apricot but one black. I'm still a little sleep deprived. She went into labor at 545 pm last night. First 3 were quick but I did have to help pull out. Then she took a 3 hour break. The next 5 were about an hour apart and most came out on their own. All are identical in size and color right now. 10-12 oz. other than the black. I will post lots more later after I get her all cleaned up, she won't leave the box yet other than to run out and back and won't let me move them to clean her box. I need to weigh again today, take pictures, and examine each one. But she is still very protective. I can sit in the box and rub her. But not pick up the puppies. So check back tonight later for an update and more info and pictures.

Glad mom and pups are doing well. Glad her delivery was without problems. Looking forward to more pictures and updates. Screams of joy when my granddaughter read the blog. The black one is so cute among the group.

Yes. Everyone is doing great. We had bets Friday night on how many. I said 8. I know vet said she could see 7 but I saw the 8th up at backbone. My husband said 7 my son said 9. So I was so happy when the 8th one was born. With my last litter the vet saw 10 but she had 12. So you just never know. Comments are closed.
