11/3/2017 Crazy busyi went and bragged when the pups were born that this would be such an easy litter. After having 10 and 12 how hard could 6 be? This will be a long post so you may want to sit down kick back and over look all my typing errors. I normally move the pups to the “office” at 4-5 weeks and this is where they remain until pick up day. If you have visited you know the room I’m referring too. Well we have had mostly summer litters. So when this litter was born I decided the drop ceiling should be replaced with drywall to better insulate the room. This room has lots of windows and doors. So in the process of the ceiling issue we decided this room would be better as our kitchen. I still have plenty of space for pups in the room too but it would allow our current kitchen to be used for pups until they are 6 weeks. Yeah you guessed it. Huge remodel. And all for the well-being of pups. If you ask my husband he will tell you I would give the dogs my bed and sleep on the floor if there was a reason for it. So the house has been torn up the last couple weeks and I’m going crazy. I’m use to a routine and an order I do things in and it’s been hard to do that. The good news the pups are still in the living room and love it. I will be moving them to the office by Monday. This is a huge remodel and will have to be done in phases. So the drywall is done. Painting almost done. And cabinets on one wall for my office portion. The kitchen side will take more time and will not be done right now. But the pups will have plenty of room now and the new sliding door is in to go outside. So if you have think I’ve been slacking on posts it’s because I’m keeping 6 pups busy in the living room. When they are Mobil that’s not my choice of rooms to start them in. I like to be able to shut the door and keep mom out so they can learn. At this age all the want to do is follow mom. The next could weeks I should be back to normal as we start training and puppy culture clicker training. My next post tonight will be about the pups. Personality and size.
